Who We Are

My name is Dane Mosher. I’m the 9th-grade basketball and football head coach at Chanhassen High School, as well as AAU head coach for 925, a husband to a superhuman, a father of three amazing kids, and the proud owner of Sports Unlimited.

Being able to say that is a full circle moment for me. Thinking back as high school kid, I occupied my summers coaching camps for Sports Unlimited all the way through college. I was doing what I loved most, while making enough money to date my now wife. Little did I know, that some day I’d be able to call the company mine.

Getting to this point was a mix of luck, immense support from my wife and family, and a stubborn love of sports. As a kid, I played seemingly all of them; Soccer, basketball, baseball, football, you name it. I played varsity basketball and football at Saint Thomas Academy (STA) in Mendota Heights, MN, and went on to play football for the University of St. Thomas as a tight end…before they went Division I (Go Tommies!).

My athletic career, the coaches who guided me, the discipline required by sports, and the grind of playing all helped shape the foundation of the man I am today.

I went to college not knowing where I wanted my career to land. I just knew I was passionate about sports and was fairly good at persuasive writing. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Communications & Journalism and a minor in Business Marketing. My job search didn’t pan out the way I wanted, so I ended up going back to school at Concordia University, St. Paul, to earn my M.S. in Athletic Administration and Coaching. Around that time, I began coaching at my alma mater, St. Thomas Academy. Then, I transitioned to Chanhassen in 2023.

It wasn’t until 2022 that I reconnected with Sports Unlimited. I thank God that I did. As the Director of Operations from 2022–2025, I learned the business from the inside out. I got to know the communities and the youth within those communities who were hungry for activity. I met families who saw the value in sports and understood how it can not only create fun memories, but also develop character, build friendships, and teach valuable skills. I had the opportunity to help shape the quality, consistency, and growth of our programs across city parks and recreation centers, school districts, and community organizations.

I am excited for the opportunity to continue to offer and grow our programs throughout the Twin Cities. We invite you to explore adding some of our camp offerings to your community, joining one of our camps around the metro, or engaging with us on our social media platforms as we continue to grow and deliver quality youth sports camps for years to come.
